Job Description:

The IT Architect, Microsoft 365 Solution utilizes experience and knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration, and best practice recommendations combined with experience with Microsoft Exchange-Exchange online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, OneDrive, Yammer, and Azure stack to assist SpartanNash users with the design, develop/build and deploy messaging and collaborations solutions. This position relies on experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms.

Specific duties include: (1) coordinate with leaders to understand business requirement and convert it into Technical requirements for project lifecycle management; (2) lead project design, development, and deploying solutions involving Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online. Power platform and Azure stack using Technology reference models; (3) provide technical direction and solutions to architectural, development, and operational teams on assigned projects; (4) design support for the organization's application systems, components, and infrastructure with best practice implementation; (5) lead architectural framework for application systems and information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts; (6) formulate criteria for and execute proofs-of-concept for new approaches and platforms; (7) understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes, additions, or decommissions; (8) analyze systems and determine the exact testing to perform to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements; (9) define and develop technology strategy, standards, roadmaps, and practices; (10) address problems relating to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration; (11) lead collaborations with business and technical teams to review conflicts/gaps between functional goals and existing capabilities; (12) participate in enterprise project prioritization planning with management; (13) provide technical assistance to development and operations teams on new system projects and existing systems, provide formal skills development training organize employee workshops; (14) develop and document best practices and automate redundant tasks; (15) define policies and best industry practices around Microsoft 365 and Azure; (16) responsible for leadership and delivery of project-based assignments that encompass system architecture, proof-of-concept, and deployment services; (17) perform system reviews of client telephony environments and prepare findings documents outlining short and long-term strategies; (18) provide solution consulting spanning full-lifecycle technical leadership from requirements gathering to implementation, transition, and operations; and (19) design test scenarios/cases for Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Power Automate. OneDrive, and Yammer. Up to 5% of domestic travel required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

• 5 years related (progressive, postbaccalaureate) experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms.

• Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following:

1) leading project design, development, and deploying solutions involving Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online. Power platform and Azure stack using Technology reference models;

2) providing solution consulting spanning full-lifecycle technical leadership from requirements gathering to implementation, transition, and operations;

3) designing test scenarios/cases for Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Power Automate. OneDrive, and Yammer;

4) leading architectural framework for application systems and information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts; and

5) utilizing experience with Microsoft Exchange-Exchange online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, OneDrive, Yammer, and Azure stack.

Up to 5% of domestic travel required.
